Vadodara: The Sociology Department of the Faculty of Art University M seems to have been a new choice for prospective members in sociology.
This year, the department received 59 applications for the MA program in sociology against a capacity of 50 seats.
In the past, the department used to receive applications in the range of 2 to 22.
For the first time, the department conducted an online entrance test where 49 applicants can remove the test.
This is the highest number for the department, “Students who join departments from various disciplines will be able to synthesize knowledge.
This in turn will ensure that research work is well produced.
Our department will be able to produce multidisciplinary knowledge and we will be able to take many new research projects , “said Dr.
