The son of Teh Assam’s seller made it to AIIMS, Delhi

Guwahati: abandoned by his father and raised by his mother who managed the tea kiosk, a boy from Patacharkuchi in the district seat Bajali Assam had secured a chair in the undergraduate program in AIIMS, New Delhi, this year by solving Near in his first attempt.
Rahul Das, who handed over his work as an engineer to pursue his dream to become a doctor, has proven that perseverance paid.
“I owe my mother.
I can never pay back for all the sacrifices she has made to raise me and my brother with income from selling tea.
Our father left our house and stopped taking care of us 11 years ago,” Rahul said.
Assam CM Himanta Buswa Sarma said the state government would take care of the cost of education.
Rahul passed the XII examination of his class in 2015 with high grades but had to drop a year due to extreme poverty at home.
“It is impossible to think of higher studies after my class XII because of our financial condition.
After one year, I got a ticket in the Institute of Engineering and Technology Petrochemical Center in Changsari (Guwahati) and then I got a job at MNC.
But there is no job satisfaction And then I realized that I had one life and why not pursue my dream that I had nurtured since my 12th grade became a doctor.
Finally, I decided to pursue my dream and one good day I surrendered from my work and start preparing NEET, ” Rahul said.
