The son of the doc couple found in Punawale 8 days after kidnapping

Pune: The four-year-old son of a city-based doctor couple, was kidnapped on January 11 by an unknown scooter from nearby homes from High Street, found not injured in Punawale on Wednesday.
Commissioner Pune Pune Amitabh Gupta said, “The boy was released by the kidnapper unconditionally.

Pune Police Crime Branch and Police Chathushrungi had launched a large search operation for eight days to track the boy.
They have not set a kidnappers, motives and circumstances that cause the liberation of the boy.
There are no ransom calls or threats received by old boys or other family members, police said.
“The medical examination of the boy, before he was handed over to his parents, did not show physical or traumatic damage,” Shisve added.
The boy’s father, Satish Chavan, is MD (doctor) and has a clinic in Baner Junction.
His mother, Prachi, is MD in pathology and running the lab.
The family came from Nanded and settled in Pune in 2019.
The doctor’s couple would drop their son in the center of child care half km away, every day.
On January 11, both of them had to leave early to work and have asked their 12-year-old relatives to walk children to the center of child care at around 9.55 in the morning.
A team led by the Senior Inspector of Rajkumar Waghchaure from Police Chatushrungi and Inspector Balaji Pandhare scan recordings of more than 250 CCTV cameras to track kidnappers.
The police said the scooter was wearing a black helmet and a dark blue jacket came to the place where he picked up the boy from Chandani Chowk and lingering near the building for almost 45 minutes.
He followed the boy and 12 years old after both walked out of the community and reached a place near the city park.
There, his scooter won a four-year player and slapped and encouraged children aged 12 years to the side.
He put the boy on his scooter before going up to Balewadi High Street and advanced to Wakad.
The 12-year-old child refused the scooter by reaching for the two-wheeled back handlebar, but lost the grip when the suspect was accelerated.
