Mumbai: Former Commissioner of Police Mumbai Rd Tyagi Raj Tyagi was arrested from Bandra on Wednesday on charges of stalking and intimidating his alienated wife.
Previously, Tyagi was arrested in March after his wife filed domestic violence and tried to kill complaints against him.
He then came out with a guarantee a few days ago, but now it has been sent to the police detention once more.
Tyagi’s wife, who lives in Bandra with four children, has alleged that she stands near her apartment and also follows her to her car after coming out with a guarantee.
He added that a security guard also saw him standing near the building.
Based on his complaint, a violation below Section 354 (D) and 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) was registered against Tyagi, the post he was Nabbed and taken to the Bandra Court.
The court has drawn him to police custody until 2.
July last week that the Bombay High Court has provided guarantees to Tyagi, after he submitted a written statement from the prison stating that he would not enter the jurisdiction of the Bandra Police Station.
