Ahmedabad: A 16-year-old boy, who pursued a Diploma in Hotel Management, died of suicide at his home in Ranip on Monday.
His uncle who brought food for him to find his body depending on the ceiling fan, the police said.
The deceased has been identified as Patil Neel, a resident of Sharad Colony near Sabarmati Ashram.
His father, Patil Kanu, was the police chief with Gomtipur police.
When the incident happened, Kanu with his younger wife and son was in Uttarakhand on the tour.
“The family went for a tour on Sunday.
Before leaving, they asked Uncle Neel to take care of them with their absence.
When his uncle brought food for him on Monday morning, he found the teen body,” police said, “Patil immediately returned from the tour and Reach the city on Tuesday morning.
Because they are still surprised, we still haven’t asked them.
“An Officer said,” Neel asked to be released from a trip on a personal reason.
He has been under pressure for the past few weeks.
“Police Ranip has registered a case Unintentional death and investigating this case.
