The speed limit is reduced to the E-Way Yamuna to prevent an accident

Greater Noida: Industrial Development Authority Yamuna Expressway has revised the speed limit for private motorized vehicles using toll roads from 100 km per hour to 80 km per hour (KMPH) from December 15.
The revised speed limit will remain valid until February 15.
While speed reduction is a regular procedure on the toll road during the winter, officials say revisions are part of the precautionary measures taken to minimize the incidence of vehicle buildup following bad accidents and fog.
Supervision cameras have been installed at various points and e-challans will be issued if a violation occurs, officials said, adding that the speed limit for heavy vehicles has been reduced to 60 kmph.
