Surat: The 36-year-old financial consultant suffered a serious injury after he was knocked by the van of the drove police control room (PCR) on Wednesday night at Mishal Circle which was below the limit of the police station in Tanchjan.
The police ordered the driver of Van Yogesh Vijay to drive a rash.
The incident was captured by a CCTV camera installed in the area.
Nilesh Saringanwala, a resident of Ada, who rode a motorcycle was knocked down by Van PCr which drove around 11:30 a.m.
Van PCR comes from Pal Patiya and headed for the Galaxy Circle.
The van was pushed at high speed and upside down after hitting a motorcycle.
The filter and motorbike were thrown a few meters away after being knocked.
The filter shifted to the hospital and operated for serious injury on the left foot.
He suffered a head injury too, police information.
The filter does not wear a helmet.
The defendant driver is a contractual employee hired by the House Department.
The Sarudewala family did not realize the accident until late at night until his mother called his cellphone number.
Some unknown people answered the call and told him that the filter was received at the hospital.
