Bengaluru: After reporting that the Ministry of Health and Education was not on the same page during the SSLC test, the Chairman of the BS Minister Yediyurappa on Tuesday that the decision was taken after the right discussion and it was not an unilateral step.
Minister of Primary and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar said that the SSLC newspaper will be held on July 19 and 22.
The announcement has pushed some concerns ahead of the third wave of Covid-19 possible.
“Minister of Education, after a preliminary discussion with me, has decided to improve the SSLC exam date.
This has been done for the benefit of students after a comprehensive discussion, and it is not a unilateral decision,” said Yediyurappa, added that confusion should not be made in this matter.
After commenting the minister’s chairman, Health Minister K Sudhakar also said that Kumar had discussed this issue with experts before receiving a call and Yediyurappa also got information.
Sudhakar previously said that he was not aware of the decision to conduct an examination.
