The SSLC exam starts at Karnataka amid Covid’s worries

Bengaluru: Two-Day Stacking Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 Examination began in all states on Monday, amid concerns of Covid-19.

Because of the Covid-19 situation, for the first time, the exam has diminished from six days to two days, with students write one paper for three subjects per day.
On Monday, students write exams for mathematical core subjects, science and social sciences, while on July 22 there will be tests for languages ​​like Kannada, English, Hindi, Sanskrit.
This year’s department has increased the number of inspection centers and teachers on duty, officials of the Secondary Education Examination Board of Karnataka have said, adding that as many as 1.19 lakh staff have been deployed for 73,064 exam halls at 4,885 centers in the entire state.
Special settings have been made for 23 students who have tested positive Covid-19, to write exams in Covid care centers in their respective districts.
All the necessary settings are carried out in the exam centers maintaining the situation of the pandemic in mind, where only 12 students, one per bench, will sit in class and those who have symptoms will be allowed to take the exam in a separate room, officials said.
All staff involved in the exam task have received at least one dose of vaccination, officially more.
The exam will be in the form of multiple choice questions and students must mark the correct answer on the Mark Reading Optical (OMR) sheet given to them.
Hoping all students to appear for the SSLC exam, the Chairman of the Minister of BS Yediyurappa in a Tweet said, “I urged my young friends to relax and focus on the test.
I convinced the parents that our government had made all arrangements to ensure the exam was held safely.

The Minister of Premier and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar also in a tweet convincing parents that a secure exam center for students and the government has taken all the necessary steps to conduct examinations in a safe environment.
