Minister of Primary and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar announced on Monday that the two-day SSLC exam will be held on July 19 and 22 throughout Karnataka.

“Every exam center will have a separate space for symptomatic students to write an exam.
The health counters will store tabs on the health of students.
Each center will be equipped with a thermal scanner, pulse oximeter and first aid kit,” said Primary and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar, added That the Covid maintenance center will be arranged in any net where if there are positive covid students to write a test, he will be allowed to do so.
According to the guidelines by the Secondary Education Examination Agency Karnataka (KSEEB), a student who scored 90 to 100 will be declared as ‘A +’; 80-89 as’ A ‘, 60-79-‘B’ and 35 to 59 as the value of ‘C’.
The report card will print a sign along with the printed value.
Each subject will have 40 signs.
For evaluation purposes, these signs will be converted to 80 marks per subject.
The internal assessment sign will be added and the results will be tabulated for a maximum of 625 marks.
About 8,76,595 students from 14,927 schools (including 6,247 schools without assistance) are expected to take the exam.
This year, the exam center will be doubled from 3,000 to 6,000 with a maximum of 100 students per test center and 12 students per room with one student per table.
Results II-PU to come out in mid-July
Kumar also said that the results of PU II will be stated in the second week of July.
The expert committee of 12 members has been formed which will decide how the results will be stated.
“If there are students who are not satisfied with the results, he will get an option to write a test later on,” Kumar clarified.
The minister is different from the decision
While Kumar announced the date for the SSLC exam, cabinet colleagues and Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar said that he was not aware of such decisions.
Kumar said that the decision about examination examinations was taken with the approval of health officials.
“Before the meeting, I personally met with the lead Minister BS Yediyurappa who had given his approval for the decision to conduct an examination,” Kumar clarified.
