Ranchi: The Government of State has issued a detailed guideline to all Deputy Commissioners (DC) of 24 districts for effective Covid-19 pandemic management, especially those expected third waveles, with interesting NGOs and civil society organizations (CSOs).
For this purpose, the government has asked 24 districts to form a “Go-CSO Coordination Committee” for the operation entitled “Mission Kartavya” to fight Pandemi.
In a letter sent to DCS, Arun Kumar Singh’s additional school (health) said the state committee and civil society organizations were formed last year under Aegis UNICEF as an agent of Nodah worked well in preventing the spread of pandemic and they must be rejuvenated with a clear mandate , He said, “The third wave is expected to tend to be different from the previous waves and hence, the committee must be rejuvenated to perform routine functions and monitoring.” The purpose of ‘Mission Kartavya’ includes identifying covid patients and connecting it with government facilities besides giving them psychological and social support.
“The Committee will also provide correct information about health facilities and family relations affected by the government’s social security scheme,” the letter reads.
DC has been named after a district level nodal officer for the Committee.
Get out of the famous CSO functional and well managed in a district, someone will be chosen as the CSO mother who is responsible for coordinating with DC offices and other OMS who work in the field.

CSO will be responsible for proposing a daily report on the format shared by Nodal – UNICEF agents.
Singh said the committee will be activated with direct effects and DC will hold their meeting every 15th day.
“Minutes of meetings from each district must be sent to missionarakya2021@gmail.com and the same thing will be shared with the WhatsApp District Coordination Committee by Ms.
CSO from the district concerned,” he said.
In further reshuffle in the internal structure of the committee, the letter said that every committee will consist of district program managers (DPM), the Coordinator of the Department of Health’s District Program, District Children’s Protection Officer, Childline Officer, DPM State of Jharkhand Society Livelihood (JSLPS), Miss state resources from the state social audit unit, regional disaster management officers, district nodal bodies and inter-agency groups.
The letter also asked NGOs and CSOs to form district support centers for resource mobilization and to create awareness, identify migrant workers and expand assistance to those in need.
The whole exercise will be supported by the IEC funds Department and Internal Resources Jharkhand CSO Forum, JSLPS and social audit units other than funds from UNICEF.
