Ranchi: The State Transport Department is reported to have “corrupt action” when giving the RS 9-Crore project under the NIRBhaya fund for women’s safety to a company based in Mumbai, which falsify its work experience, claiming road safety activists attached to the National Road Safety Council (NRSC ), Wing Ministry of Transportation Center and Highway (MORTH).
By stating that the purpose of women’s safety and security has been defeated by law, Jalan Safety Activists Kamaljeet Singh said the state transportation department was postponed with three Mumbai-based entities to provide the project cheat.
While overcoming a press conference on Saturday, Singh, who is also a member of the European Association for accident research and analysis, “three companies, namely M / S Paras Infra, M / S Pragati Structural and Structural Konark Engineers, were selected by the Technical Committee of the Department of Transportation.” He Furthermore, “The Committee completed the offer evaluation during the meeting held on April 8 this year.
The meeting was led by the Kumari PASI Kiran Transport Commissioner where M / S Paras Infra was chosen for the project.
However, the company has submitted a fake document for certificates of experience And they were ignored by the transportation department officials.
“This project is about the development, adjustment, dissemination and managing vehicle tracking system throughout the state.
The project is assisted by mortar under the NIRBHAY fund for women’s safety and security while traveling by public transportation.
The proposed system seeks to equip all public passenger transportation vehicles with vehicle location tracking devices (VLT) and emergency buttons to increase alarms.
Singh further said RTI response from the Public Sector Unit – Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) and Indian Gas Authority LIMITED (GAIL) – Confirmed that no third company Based in Mumbai, which qualifies for technical evaluations, has involved them for work related to vehicle tracking devices.
The three companies, to support their experience, have submitted this oil and gas company document because it has worked for PSU.
While HPCL was rejected to issue a work order worth RS 6.19 Crore to M / S Paras Infra as the last claimed in the offer, another RTI reply from IOCL confirmed that there was no work order of RS 6.97 Crore related to vehicle tracking devices provided to M / S Paras Infra, said Singh, based in Ludhiana and Delhi and attached to NRSC as a consultant.
Two other companies have also submitted work experience related to vehicle tracking devices with CPCL and Gail.
In his reply to the RTI query, Gail said there was no work order or contract given to M / S Pragati Infra worth RS 8.97 Crore.
CPCL also denied giving any work to the structural engineers M / S Konark related to vehicle tracking devices, they claimed.
Singh also said, “I have done road safety issues over the past two decades and the mistake of the state transportation department will affect the safety of women and children on the road.
How can I let it go? I have also raised this problem here during my last visit But the government has not arranged every consciousness.
