The statue of Jinnah was destroyed in the explosion at Balochistan

Karachi: Founder Statue of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah has been destroyed by Baloch militants in a bomb attack in the city of Gwadar Beach in Balochistan Province.
The statue, which was installed in June at Marine Drive – considered a safe zone – blown by explosives placed under the statue on Sunday morning, Dawn reported on Monday.
The statue was completely destroyed in the explosion, he added.
Babgar Baloch, a militant organizational spokesman Baloch Republican Army, claimed responsibility for the explosion on Twitter, BBC Urdu reported.
The problem is being investigated at the highest level, Deputy Deputy Gwadar Major (Retd) Abdul Kabir Khan quoted by BBC Urdu.
He said that militants destroyed the statue of Jinnah by planting explosives entering the area as a tourist.
According to him, no arrests have been made so far but investigations will be completed in one or two days.
“We are looking for problems from all angles and the culprit will be arrested soon,” he said.
“Demolition of the quaid-e-azam statue at #Gwadar is an attack on Pakistani ideology.
I asked the authority to punish the perpetrators in the way we committed with those who were behind the attack on the quaid-e-azam residency in Ziaat,” former Minister of Home Minister Balochistan and Senator are currently Sarfraz Bugti tweeted.
In 2013, Baloch militants blew up a 121-year-old building used by Jinnah in Ziata and greeted him with shots, triggering a fire that blazed for four hours, destroying furniture and memorabilia.
Jinnah spent the last days of his life there when he suffered from tuberculosis.
Then declared a national monument.
Born on December 25, 1876, Jinnah served as the Leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 to 11 August 1947.
He then served as Pakistan’s first Governor General until his death in 1948.
Balochistan had witnessed a series of low-level violence for years.
