Gaming Handheld Valve Steam Deck is the Nintendo Switch-rival that will soon be introduced in the international market.
Although it will support tons of games in Steamos, it is not considered by Epic Games when it comes to Fortnite.
Epic Games did not plan to update fortnite for Steamos, said CEO of the Sweeney team in a tweet.

EPIC GAMES ANTI-Cheat Software, Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), is also compatible with Linux and Proton, but the CEO does not support the Fortnite update in Steam Deck.
Sweeney, in a statement given to the threshold, describing Linux as a “audience that is very difficult to serve considering that various configurations are incompatible.” When asked if it was possible to make fortnite compatible only for steamos, he said “Linux has become a small market and if you divide with the blessed kernel version then it’s even smaller.” So, for now, everything doesn’t look so promising for fortnite in Steam Deck.
