The streets are flooded, long snarls carry noida, ghaziabad to knee

Noida / Ghaziabad: Floods, deep craters, long grunts …
overnight rainfall and heavy shower on Saturday mornings threw our equipment in the twin cities of Noida and Ghaziabad.
Waterlogging is reported from ordinary areas, as well as traffic.
In Ghaziabad, the boundary wall of the housing community in Bhopura – Bharat City -Collaps and wastewater from adjacent channels gush to the complex.
In Patel Nagar 2, Ambedkar Park and Lohia Nagar, rainwater has flooded the ground floor of almost every building, limiting the population to their homes throughout the day.
Clogged wrinkles caused flooding on the arterial road Amimsa Khand, Gyan Khand and other regions.
D Fair, residents of Raj Nagar Extension, have an appointment with teachers at his daughter’s school.
Even though he negotiated four routes, he stopped just a few meters from the school building when the road in front was under deep water.
Sunil Singh, residents of Bharat City, can not remember having seen the adjacent channels in such circumstances.
“After the walls of our people give up, a flood of dirt and drain water flows and floods the entire complex.
Residents have gathered on their balcony to see what happened.
It was a scary sight,” he said.
Officials at Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) called it unprecedented.
“So far this year, we usually don’t have so much rain.
As part of preparation, we have erased dirt from the water channel.
If not, the situation can be much worse,” said an official.
The situation is no better at Noida.
A few months ago, Noida and larger noida authorities have said that they have taken concrete steps to prevent waterlogging.
Saturday floods raise questions about whether they are enough.
Dalit Prerna sthal, a vulnerable place that sank every year and inhibits traffic movements at Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, flooded this time too.
Just a few weeks ago, Noida authorities have announced that it has installed a pump to drain water for Rs 74 Lakh.
“Water may not go down the waterways, money has.
Just like the previous years, water has gathered this time,” said Ankush Singh, a resident of Sector 34 who wanted to go to Delhi on Saturday morning.
The road remains underwater in Chowk Workers, Underpass Sector 60 and near Fortis Hospital until Afternoon.
Some government buildings, such as Noida CMO office, district hospitals and sector 16 substances, are under deep water.
Surajpur collectorate compounds are also flooded.
Chandra deep, additional chief executive of the Great Noida Authority, the word water has been drained after some time.
“Yes, waterlogging was reported in several regions.
But the situation was handled,” he added.
Floods, however, have cascading effects on traffic too.
In Noida, ordinary stretching – DND Flyway, Dalit Prone Sttal, Semanggi Leaf Mahamaya, Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Haldoni-Surajpur route – watched long snarls.
Traffic crawled around the worker chowk, where the water level rose 2 feet.
The stretch between Kulsa and Surajpur, which is one of the worst affected roads during heavy rain spells on July 28, is no different this time.
At Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, the worst devastated areas are near Pari Chowk, where underpass is being built.
The vehicle line stretches up to 6 km on the road between Behlolpur Chowk and Gaur Chowk too.
Many commuters trapped in growls are leading to their relatives to celebrate Rakshabandhan.
Sachin Yadav from Noida is one of them.
He tweeted about lack of traffic management and marked the traffic police handle and police.
DCP (traffic) Ganesh Saha agreed that even though the work had been made to avoid waterlogging near Dalit Prerna Sthal and Loop Mahamaya a few months ago, he failed to drain water on Saturday.
“Some work is waiting.
Construction must have helped in several ways.
But the water has filled the area again,” he added.
In Ghaziabad, traffic was beaten closest to Trisection Meerut, in Mohan Nagar and on part of the Delhi-Meerut toll road.
SP (Traffic) Ramanand Kushwaha said, “We have mobilized the police in all stretches.
We tried their best to regulate traffic, but waterlogging throws it from teeth.” More rain in the store? Kuldeep Srivastava, Head of the Regional Weather Forecasting Center IMD, said, “Rain is expected on Sunday morning.
But it is likely to stabilize at night.”
