Kolkata: The results of the ICSE in the state cannot reach 100% pass that the Delhi NCR region can be exhibited because the results are stated by the Indian school certificate exam board on Saturday.
The percentage of graduating from the ICSE state was 99.98%.
However, it was higher than ISC in the state (99.63), the score of the ICSE school toppers in Kolkata had become shady lower than ISC where almost every school topper was impressed with a score of 99-plus.
On average, ICSE toppers in the city have scored in the range of 96% -98%.
The results of 100% ICSE from the NCR Delhi region reminded one of the declared Madhyamic results where nearly 11 of his lakh candidates were declared graduated.
It has led education to debate whether such a system is the result of signal inflation due to applying the formula to calculate a sign based on certain hypotheses, because the written exam does not occur.
Some academics, however, feel that this score is not from the highest interest for ICSE students because they will not go beyond the school education portal immediately and will still have two years to learn and prove themselves.
As many as 39,520 students emerged for ICSE in the state of 391 schools.
The girl with a percentage pass 99.99 has got a better value than a boy (99.97%).
Seven boys and two girls did not succeed in the ICSE exam.
Arjun Jhunjhunwala, Arjoe Basak and Arihant Satpati from Don Bosco Park Circus have scored 99.4%, respectively 99.2% 99%.
Pranjal Sengupta from Rammohan Mission has scored 99.2%.
“My dream is pursuing physics and going for research,” he said.
Most other toppers print 98-pluses.
Adya Agarwal from La Martiniere for girls has scored 98.8% along with three Toppers Sta Xavier’s Collegiate School, Shobhit Bandhu, Sugata Sen and Arya Ghosh, and the peak of heritage school, Naina Agarwal.
“It’s still too early to say what I want to be but until now I will pursue knowledge and I hope to learn engineering after plus me,” Arjun said.
ICSE Topper from St Augustine’s Shyamnagar, Rishav Sarma Sarkar, has scored 98.4% and Anwesha Ghoshal of MP Birla Foundation has scored 98.2%.
Some school principals felt that while 99-plus was the equivalent score of most ISC toppers, in terms of ICSE, a large number of toppers showed a score of 98.8.
Variations of signs that allow the pen and paper exam allows to be lost if the sign is calculated based on the statistical formula where there is enough space for generalization.
