New Delhi: The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on Monday a set of applications seeking an independent investigation into alleged peeking at certain people in India involving the Pegasus Spyware Israel.

In the short affidavit submitted in the previous court, the center said the position of this issue was clarified in parliament by the Minister of Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw.
With the view of expelling the wrong narratives spread by certain interests and examining the problems raised, the government will form the committee of experts, he said.
The upper court, while issuing notifications about the request, have said that it does not want the government to reveal anything related to national security and has requested the center of what “problems” if the competent authority submitted Affidavit before it was above the issue.
