The survey to identify dropout in nilgiris began today

Udhagamandalam: The education department is ready to take a survey on Tuesday to identify dropouts and take them back to school.
Nazarudheen, head of the major education, said the survey, which will be stipulated on the right to the Education Act, 2009, which facilitates free and mandatory education for children aged between six and 14 years.
The head by education officers, the survey team consisted of training participants’ teachers, educational district coordinators, district coordinators, principals, school teachers, and special teachers, among others.
They will identify and collect dropout data, guest workers, disabled children and children who have lost their parents / parents to their Covid-19.
“After that, they will be accepted into classes in government schools based on their age,” Nazarudheen said.
The team will cover 1,578 housing areas in this district.
A session was held in Ooty on August 4 to discuss the door-to-door survey, which would mainly focus on tea plantations, industrial areas, tribal hamlets and construction sites.
“The survey will also help collect lost children’s data.
Parents / their parents to Covid-19,” Nazarudheen said.
