KABUL: Taliban on Sunday claimed to have arrested nearly 100 criminal suspects in Kabul in the past week.
Mobin Gen, spokesman for the Department of Security Kabul, said the detainees were suspicious in different cases including armed robbery, and their documents were sent to the relevant justice office to be investigated, reporting tolo news.
“Their documents have been sent to the justice department, and we guarantee the population of Kabul that the Islamic Emirates forces work 24 hours a day to provide security for residents,” said Gen Mobin.
Meanwhile, military experts state that the number of criminal cases will increase due to poverty and hunger developing in the country, reporting tolo news.
“The widespread poverty is directly associated with and influences the increase in crime in the city,” said Asadullah Nadim, a military expert.
This happened after the Head of the Security Forces Audit Commission announced last week that the Commission had expelled 1,895 members of Force, including those involved in the case of harassment.
