KABUL: Taliban on Monday asked a former member of the Afghan forces to integrate with the ruler of the new hardline.
“Afghan troops trained in the last 20 years will be asked to rejoin the Department of Security with Taliban members,” said Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid told a press conference in the Capital Kabul.
A spokesman added that every rebellion against the rules they would “hit hard”, after previously said they had caught the Panjshir valley – the last bag of resistance.
“The Islamic Emirates are very sensitive about the rebellion.
Anyone who tries to start a rebellion will be hit hard.
We will not let the others,” Mujahid said.
Three weeks after seizing power but without the government so far announced, the spokesman said the first “temporary” system would be announced to allow change.
“The final decision has been taken, we are now working on technical problems,” he said.
“We will announce the new government as soon as the technical problem is resolved.”
