The Taliban decapitates Afghan women’s volleyball team members

New Delhi: Mahjubin Judge, a member of the Afghan women’s national volleyball team who played in the age of the youth, was beheaded by the Taliban in Kabul.
In an independent Persian interview, Suraya Afzali (pseudonym), one of the coach of the Afghan women’s national volleyball team, confirmed that the athletes had been killed, but said that there was nothing but the Mahjabin family who knew the time and way of the incident.
Mahjabin played for the Kabul Municipality volleyball club before the collapse of the Afghan government before and was one of the most successful club players.
The report said that Suraya Afzali said the murder of Mahjabin Judii might take place in early October, and that the problem was still hidden because his family had been threatened with not talking to anyone about it.
According to Afzali, after the collapse of the previous government, women’s athletes in Afghanistan faced serious security threats, and the Taliban chased them and searched a number of houses in various cities.
Many female athletes, especially members of the Afghan women’s volleyball team who have competed in foreign and domestic competitions and emerges in media programs, are under a serious threat.
Coach of the Afghan women’s national volleyball team said that only two team players could leave Afghanistan through personal actions, and other team members in Afghanistan were under threat and terror.
“All players of volleyball teams and other female athletes are in a bad situation and despair and fear,” said Afzali.
“Everyone is forced to escape and live in an unknown place.
Efforts to get support from foreign organizations and countries to leave Afghanistan so far has been unsuccessful,” said the report.
Mahjabin’s death has triggered fear to be targeted by the Taliban and individuals who have been trying to disrupt women’s sports.
With the Taliban take control of Afghanistan, all women’s activities in the fields of sports, politics and social have stopped, and there are still concerns about sustainable restrictions on the life and work and salvation of women who are active in the social arena.
