The Taliban destroyed the Shiite Foe statue from the 1990s civil war

KABUL: The Taliban has detonated the statue of a Shiite militia leader who has fought against them during the Afghan civil war in the 1990s, according to photographs circulating on Wednesday’s social media.
The statue described Abdul Ali Mazari, a militia leader who was killed by the Taliban in 1996, when Islamic militants seized power from rival warlords.
Mazari is the ethnic champion of the Afghan Minority Hazara, Shiites who were persecuted under the previous Sunni Taliban government.
The statue was established in the Province of Central Bamyan, where the Taliban strongly blew up two large-year-old Buddhist statues carved into a mountain in 2001, shortly before the US-led invasion that encouraged them from power.
The Taliban claimed the Buddha violated the Islamic ban on idolatry.
The Taliban returned to power last weekend after capturing many countries in a matter of days, less than three weeks before the US planned to complete the withdrawal of troops.
Taliban have promised to a new era of peace and security, saying that they will forgive those who fight against them and give women full rights under Islamic law, without describing.
But many Afghans are very skeptical of the group, especially those who remember the previous rules, when they imposed harsh interpretations of Islamic law.
At that time, women were mostly limited to their homes, television and music were prohibited, and suspected criminals were whipped, disabled or executed in public.
The group also organized Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaida in the years before the September 11, 2001 attacks The Taliban now said they would prevent Afghanistan from being used as a base for attacks, something that was enshrined in 2020 peaceful agreements with Trump administration that paved the way for American withdrawal.
Thousands of Afghans have tried to escape from the country in the last few days when the US and its allies have struggled to manage chaotic withdrawals from the country.
The Taliban took over the civilian side of the Kabul International Airport on Tuesday and had used the power to try to control many people.
Hundreds of people were outside the airport Wednesday morning.
Taliban demanded to see the document before leaving rare passengers inside.
Many people outside don’t seem to have a passport, and every time the gate opens even inches dozens try to push through.
The Taliban fired a warning shot occasionally to disperse them.
The US embassy was temporarily transferred to the military side of the airport, where he coordinated the removal of the diplomat air, foreigners and Afghans who worked with Americans and are now afraid of retaliation.
The British government said it would welcome up to 5,000 Afghan refugees this year, and a total of 20,000 Afghans would be offered ways to settle in the UK in the coming years.
“ We owe my gratitude to everyone who has worked with us to make Afghanistan a better place over the past 20 years, ” Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Tuesday night.
The head of the Afghan central bank meanwhile said the supply of US Physical US dollars was “ close to zero bonds, assets, and US Federal Reserve Gold.
Ahmady said the country did not receive cash delivery planned amid the Taliban attack.
“ The next delivery never arrived, “he wrote.
“ It seems that our partners have good intelligence about what will happen.
‘”He said the lack of the US dollar would likely lead to the depreciation of the local currency, Afghani, hurt the country’s poor state.
Afghanistan has lined up outside the ATM machine for days, with many who issued their life savings.
Ahmady said the Taliban would fight for Accessing the country’s backup because of international sanctions.
