The Taliban expanded the cabinet to include non-pashtun, but still no woman

Islamabad: The Taliban expanded the interim cabinet on Tuesday by including new members, all men and some of them from the Non-Pashtun ethnic group, in an effort to satisfy the global community that had insisted that their government had to be inclusive.
However, not single women included in the cabinet so far.
After including 17 new members on Tuesday – which included representatives from the ethnic group Hazara, Tajik and Uzbek – the power of the Afghan caregivers reached 50.
In the first phase, the Taliban had announced the names of 33 ministers on September 7 at 7.
Announced the expansion cabinet on The press conference, Zabihullah Mujahid, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture, said he hoped that the international community would recognize their government in the near future.
At the Ministry of Women’s Ministry and Education of GIRLS, Mujahid only said that the government worked to address women’s demands for work and education.
He also hinted that women might be added to the cabinet later.
He added that the decision not to allow the return of girls in six to 12 to schools was temporary.
“We are trying to finish the procedure so that girls can continue their education.
We will soon announce when they can go to school,” he said.
Mujahid said that there was no reason to hold back the recognition of their government.
“It is the responsibility of the United Nations to recognize our government.
We want to have diplomatic relations with European, Asian and Islamic countries,” he said.
Even though it is referred to as a caregiver, the Taliban has not fixed the duration for it.
They did not reveal their plans for the formation of permanent governance or said something about carrying out elections in the country in the future.
Mujahid also talked about the country’s critical economic conditions, by saying that domestic income was enough to meet basic needs.
“We use all diplomatic channels to withdraw Afghan assets,” he said.
After the Taliban took over, the US had freezed US $ 9.5 billion assets from the Afghan central bank.
According to the number received by the supervisory body, more than 150 media outlets have stopped their operations last month due to lack of funds and fear of the Taliban policy.
Many journalists and publishers have left the country after the Taliban overthrew the previous government.
Deputy Minister of Taliban further stated that the main radar of Kabul Airport was severely damaged and international commercial flights will continue after the completion of repair work.
He added that the helicopter at Kabul airport was destroyed “by American soldiers”.
Recently some Taliban fighters were seen in a viral video swinging on the abandoned US Chopper wings.
Meanwhile, groups of rights accused Taliban “continued to dismantle” human rights in Afghanistan after they took control of the country.
In the briefing on Tuesday, Amnesty International, the international federation for human rights and world organizations on torture accused the Taliban of a number of violations of rights, including the limits of press freedom, women’s restrictions and the target of the killing of civilians and former government officials.
The 29-page report claims that the Taliban only “strives to describe themselves as a reform group that recognizes the resemblance of women’s rights and freedom of expression” but such statements “are just covered for their regression”.
Reports of rights groups stated that “the message of the rights of women has been communicated by the Taliban since they took power unclear and inconsistent and had left women in fearful Afghanistan”.
After the announcement of their government, the Taliban had replaced the Ministry of Female Affairs with the Ministry to preach and guidance and propagation of virtues and representatives.
