The Tamil Nadu River swelled unlike before

Chennai: Heavy rain was triggered by depression on Friday and released excess water from dams, reservoirs and tanks in Kancheepuram and other districts in Tamil Nadu and neighboring Andhra Pradesh caused a surge in sudden water on the market river.
River rarely drowned swelled as before and serves a great spectacle.
The entry into the river has increased on Sundays and officials of the Ministry of Public Works said the release was more than just lakh water.
The old timer said the river market had not been in Spate for decades and some said not in a century.
Some villages in the Vellore district were cut off after most of the river gushed and several lowland bridges sank.
Most of the rivers, including Thenpennaiyar and Kedilamm, in the Cuddalore district are in the Spate after the dam and reservoir in their area release excess water.
The villages along the edge of the two rivers were flooded.
The water level in the Sathanur Dam with a full capacity of 119 feet is maintained at 99 feet because the Public Works Department has taken maintenance work from the saliva gate.
Therefore all excess water received from the Pampar Dam in Krishnagiri Regency was released from Sathanur Dam.
Meanwhile, the Delta district of the country sighed relieved when flood water flooded their area began to recede on Sundays.
Residents got a pause because the rain took a break, resulting in drying of flood water from hundreds of villages in the district.
The flow on the Cauvery and Kollidam river which passed Trichy was maintained at 18,940 cusecs and 50,701 cusec on Sunday night.
This is because the stream of entry is only from a surplus of water that is discharged from the metor dam which reaches maximum storage capacity.
PWD officials said the situation in both rivers was not worried.
There is no rainfall in the city or other direct water catchment areas on Sunday.
While the Cauvery River can manage a maximum flow of 1 lakh cusecs and Delta district flood carriers, the Kollidam River can handle 2.50 lakh cusec water at a time.
The Cauvery River only handles 18% of its capacity while Kollidam handles 25% of the specified capacity.
Because the heavy rainfall recently in the Delta Cazevery district has eliminated canal-based irrigation requirements, PWD officials said the flow of water on the Cauvery River towards Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam district were restricted.
