Ranchi: Para-sikshak Ekicrite Member Sangharsh Morcha on Thursday welcomed the cabinet’s decision to receive their delayed old demands related to their services.
However, Morcha has asked all of its members to remain united for getting paid until it reaches the age of 60 years.
The trained teacher’s salary that has passed the teacher’s feasibility test (TET) will increase by 50% from January 1, 2022, while others will get a 40% increase.
Non-TEP teachers will get an additional increase of 10% after they pass the assessment test.
Teachers will also get an annual increase in four percent.
Morcha members, Sanjay Dubey, said that the struggle for our demand began on November 1, 2004 with protests in front of Raj Bhawan.
Stating that previously they were paid between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000 per month, he showed that with low salaries and irregular payments of teachers who faced economic difficulties.
He stated, “Regarding the scale of payment, the minister has assured that he will see this problem.
So, now all our attention is to provide quality education in government schools.” Other members of Pradyuman Kumar Singh congratulate all the teachers to become assistant teachers and expressed thanks to CM and the education minister of Jagannath Mahto.
He said, “It was a result of commitment shown by all members of the organization.
The issue of the wage scale for the teacher’s assistant is waiting.
We will all work together to achieve the goal.”
