The team was formed to learn feedback to develop a coastal plan: Nilesh Cabral

PANAJI: Environment Minister Nilesh Cabral on Friday said that the team had been formed to examine places to verify objections and suggestions received during the recent hearing for the draft coastal zone management plan (CZMP).
The team will submit their technical reports and the required correction will be made afterwards.
“This is my guarantee,” said Cabral, the minister said that the public would be told about places before the team made their visit.
He also said that there would be no more hearings.
On the previous two occasions, the state government had searched for extensions to submit a planned plan, but now after entering the required correction, it will be submitted, the Minister of Environment said.
Cabral also said that the objections and suggestions delivered by the public would be installed on the website.
