Hyderabad: Indian community in London who organized programs as part of the celebration had been grateful to national health services (NHS), its workers and warriors Covid-19 through London artwork Tower Bridge installed events.
The British Telangana Association (Tauk) celebrates ‘Chenetha’ Bathukamma and Dasara in London.
Representatives of Indian Community Organizations from the UK attended this event.
English MPS Virendra Sharma and Seema Malhotra along with Hounslow Major Bishnu Bahadur Gurung was attended as a special guest.
Vice President Tauk Shusmuna Reddy said special emphasis had guided people to use a handloom through organizing celebrations because this was being promoted by Minister of Telangana It KT Rama KT Rama.
Founder of Tauk Anil Kurmachalam said while the incident was held to encourage weavers in India and impress the Indian society to wear this year’s handloom, the Indian community felt it was also appropriate for them to thanked NHS and workers.
“Without their commitment, coming together with the community to hold a celebration will not be possible,” he said.
In London Tower Bridge, the artwork read: “Thank you NHS and the main worker.” The Telangana NRI (TENF) forum in London also organizes Bathukamma and Dasara celebrations that promote the art of Telangana, including Filigree, Siddipet Gollabama, Dolls and Nirmal Brass.
Rajesh Agarwal, Deputy Mayor of London, who is a major guest, praises the promotion of Indian culture and art promotion.
Virendra Sharma, Seema Malhotra and Gurung, who participated in the celebration, praised the Indian community for maintaining tradition and culture, Gampa Venugopal, said the Chairman of the Founder, Tenf.
President of Tenf Pramod Anthati Gour, while thanking the participants to take part in the largest Bathukamma Festival in Europe, calling for Telangana’s art promotion throughout Europe.
