Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court is ready to have more new judges.
Judge Chairman Hima Kohli raised a national flag at the high court place and discussed people.
He revealed in his speech that he had sent an advocate panel to the Supreme Court and the center to be appointed as this high court judge.
The high court currently works with only 12 judges.
He thanks the chairman of India Judge NV Ramana to intervene and increase the power of judges approved to 42.
We take steps to fill these posts now to clean up cases that are waiting nearly 2.32 lakh in the High Court, he said .
Senior Justice Judge MS Ramachandra Rao, Justice A Rajasekhar Reddy, Justice Naveen Rao along with Advocate General BS Prasad, Chair of the State Bar A Narasimha Reddy, and others participated in the function.
He thanked HC staff, supporters and judges in the High Court and in the district to maintain functional justice during the ongoing pandemic for the past half a year.
