Hyderabad: Whatsapp Forward which became a viral on social media helped the original Karimnagar in trouble in Dubai connected with his family home after two years.
The family had lost contact with Madishetty Srinivas after he stopped calling since 2019.
They did not even know about his existence until his story played in front of them in the form of a video captured by a Telugu man in Dubai.
Sriniva was weak and confused by an un-maintained appearance managed to give the names of his wife, son and brother and said that they lived in Krishnanagar in Karimnagar.
“I can’t recall their telephone number,” he sounded saying in the video.
“One of our volunteers pays attention to a man who has lived on the road and is in a bad condition.
He approaches the man to find out who he is.
We circulate videos in various groups and finally reach his family who recognizes him.
We tried to take him home from Dubai.

In April 2019, Srinivas, a tailor, reportedly paid the work agent of Rs 2 Lakh and went to Dubai.
When landing there, he did not have a job because he was allegedly cheated by the agent.
Sriniva who depression is looking for work but has a problem.
Without a house, no friend and nothing helped, he began to stay on the streets until he was found by the Telugu who played good samples.
Srinivas was given a pair of new clothes and was taken to CGI with a request that he was helped to go home.
“Consulate officials respond well and make arrangements to send Srinivas back to Karimnagar,” said Basanth Reddy.
Srinivas’s video in a sad condition was noted by P Mahesh Kumar from Karimnagar, in turn, showed it to Jamuna, Srinivas’s wife.
In a video appeal, thanking Basanth Reddy to circulate the video, Jamuna urged social workers to help him return to Telangana.
