Jangaon: Ramappa Temple in Muluugu has made the world interested after the UNESCO heritage tag.
But other ancient temples from around the same Kakatiya era, the pillar Temple of Triber in Jangaon, cried at least for some attention from local officials.
This temple is dedicated to Shiva, Wisnu and Sun, therefore the name of Trycallyam.
Jompo and some were dismantled now, in his heyday prayer continued for centuries in the temple located in the village of Nidigonda Raghunadhapalli Mandal in Jangaon.
But now most hubs are for anti-social elements.
While some efforts were made by the state to recover it in 1996 and RS 20 lakh was allocated, the contractor left work in the middle of the road.
Without guards, robbers are made with excellent stone statues, while granite stones are regularly stolen, said the villagers.
The locals alleged that the archeological department became blind eye to restore historic temples after issuing pillars, stones and leaving Shiva idol outside.
“The negligence of officials was clear because they did not even bother to add pillars or stones to allow restoration correctly,” said a village resident.
The Temple of Trikycamba was built by KuduKumamba, Kakatiya’s sister Kakatiya King Gabatathideva, and gratitude to his brother after he gave him his nidigonda village.
The temple became popular after a 1,000 pillar temple in Hanamkonda.
During the sunrise and sunset, sunlight falls on Shiva Lingam in the Temple of Tribes, said the villagers.
“The Temple of Trikutlayam is only 500 meters from the Warangal-Hyderabad National Highway-163.
Can be easily developed into a tour hub.
The government must take steps to recover it,” said a village resident.
