The terror attack was thwarted, the drone was shot down at Jammu Akhnoor

Jammu: Jammu Police and Kashmir on Friday claimed to have thwarted a big terror offer by Jaish-e-Mohammad based in Pakistan, and shot down drones installed in the IED in the Akhnoor Jamu area.
Jammu Adgp Mukesh Singh confirmed that the Utas found in this drone fits those who are on the flying object used to carry out twin explosions at the Jammu Air Force station on June 27, which made two IAF personnel injured.
The drone is a hexacopter (rental six) equipped with flight controllers and GPS.
It was loaded with 5kg Ied ready to use, which could be triggered by assembling the cable, Adgp Singh said when handling a press conference.
The serial number on the flight controller used in the hexakopter is only one digit different from the other drone before being shot in Akhnoor, he added.
The police have received special input that Jaish-e-Mohammad plans to drop the payload using the drone near Akhnoor, based on the team that rushes to the area and starts watching.
“About 1am, the team pays attention to the activity of the flying object and keeps a close watch.
Just way to drop payload, the police shoot him,” Adgp Singh said.
The drone was shot down about 8 km from the international border in Gurah Pattan Village, only about 10-12 feet from the National Highway Jammu-akhnoor.
Payload should be collected by someone.
“We are waiting for the suspect but nothing appears,” Adgp said.
Hexacopter was assembled and found that the parts were made in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Talking about the relationship between back-to-back drone incidents at J & K, Adgp said, “It seems that Jaish has gathered a lot of drones like that with the same series.
Further investigation is taking place.” Drone recovered in the past recently used To drop the charge including the AK-47 rifle and IED material.
“Drones like that can travel up to 20 km depending on the charge,” said Adgp Singh, added that in the past half a year, J & K police have so far restored 16 Rifles AK-47, many magazines, 15 grenades and 18 IEDs were revealed from Pakistan.
