Najaur became Jayram BYapari on a fake identity card and his father’s elderly man.
“Munshi borrowed an identity card from an old man with the pretext that his brother came from Bangladesh and needed a document to get a license to move the automatic rickshaw,” the officer said.
Three terrorists came from Bangladesh to Kolkata a few months ago and lived in the middle class environment.
Some documents, including jihad material, list of JMB top leaders and their colleagues in other terror groups, confiscated from their ownership.
A number of JMB operators, including Indians, were arrested in West Bengal in recent years.
JMB, who carried out terror attacks in a popular cafe in Dhaka in 2016 where 22 people, including 17 foreigners, were killed, trying to spread their tentacles in India, Nia said in 2019.
