The Thane industrial unit stole electricity which is worth more than RS 24 lakh; Owner order

Thane: Police in Thane City Maharashtra have registered a case against the industrial unit for alleged theft of power more than RS 24 Lakh, the company’s electricity distribution of Maharashtra (MSEDCL) said on Tuesday.
During the raid at the Indian technical work site in Shivai Nagar, it was found that the electricity meter was modified and remote kit was used to steal strength, MSEDCL which was stated in the release.
The establishment has stolen 1,35,466 electricity units, which work more than Rs 24.72 lakh, stated.
Based on complaints submitted by the electricity company, a case has been registered in Jamal Sayyad, the owner of the industrial unit, under the relevant section of Indian electricity laws and further investigation is underway, stated.
