The thief arranged an ATM kiosk burning after stealing RS 31 Lakh

Letter: The thief stole Rs 31.31 lakh cash from the Indian Bank Automatic Teller (ATM) machine in Vadod Pandesara at the early hours on Friday.
After stealing cash, thieves burn machines and ATM booths.
Along with the ATM, fixture, AC and CCTV cameras were destroyed in the fire, police said.
The police were told about theft around 8 in the morning.
Theft was thought to have been done between 12 midnight until 4am.
ATM cut open using a gas cutter.
There were no security guards employed at the ATM and were not in the area who knew about the incident until the agency personnel managing the ATM went to examine it.
Following doubts about suspicious activities, those who monitor ATM security remotely warn their local officials.
When officials went to check it out, they found the ATM booth hit the fire.
Bhupendra Singh, a company employee who maintained SBI ATM, filed a complaint at the Pandesara Police Station.
The ATM is installed in a commercial complex shop in Vadod.
The police said that thieves sprayed paint on the CCTV camera installed in the booth before opening an ATM.
The police suspect that it must have been more than an hour for thieves to solve ATMs.
“We will check CCTV footage from the camera installed in this area to find out how many people are involved and the vehicle used by them,” said a police officer.
