New Delhi: If careful and Indian people are able to vaccinate a large number of populations, then the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic may not even come, the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Director Dr.
Randeep Guleria on Thursday.
“It depends on how we behave, if we are careful and we have good vaccination coverage, then the third wave may not come, or will be very little,” Guleria told Ani when talking about the third wave of Covid-19.
Sharing his views on mixing vaccines, Director AIIMS said, “More data is needed on mixing doses.
Studies have come that says that it might be effective but with more than usual side effects.
We need more data before we can say that this is a policy What must be tried.
“Talking about the active amount of the Covid-19 case in this country, Dr.
Guleria suggested that there are several areas where high case participants and need to be handled aggressively to contain the next spread.
“Reduction cases but there are several areas where the case position is still high, we need to overcome this problem aggressively in these fields.
They should not be a hotspot, leading to the spread of viruses in other areas,” he added.
