Mumbai: The 23-year-old Techie was arrested from Hyderabad for alleged posting the threat of rape to nine-month daughter of Cricket Nine India in India through social media had been sent to police custody five days after she was produced in front of the Esplanade Court on Thursday.

The defendant, Ramnagesh Akubatthini, claimed that he posted a threat to the Cricketer Twitter handle after exchanging words between two groups – one supported Cricketer and other Gappistanradio supported by Techie.
Akubathini told the cyber police in the bandra-kurla complex where he would be in police custody until November 15 that he regretted his actions.
If punished, he can be imprisoned for a maximum period of three years with a fine of RS five lakh to publish or transmit material that describes children in sexually explicit electronic actions in electronic form.
DCP (Mumbai-cyber) Rashmi Karandikar said a case was submitted against Akubathini last week with Delhi police with complaints from the Delhi Commission for women after the defendant posted a tweet.
Akubathini, State Topper and Iit fainted from Hyderabad, is part of a group that has an exchange of words with other groups after India lost the T20 World Cup match on October 24 against Pakistani arch-rivals.
