New Delhi: The second electric car Tata Motors at Space Mobility Personal Tigor EV is set to debut on August 31.
Spy shots revealed Tigor EV is expected to run more than 300 kilometers with one.
Tigor EV, like NEXON EV, is powered by the Ziptron electric module company.
Tigor EV, however, got a 26 kWh battery pack that is less about Nexon EV 30.2 kWh.
NEXON EV produces 312 kilometers (claimed) against one charge.
Talking to TOI, company officials claim Tigor EV will provide a similar range like Nexon EV without further outlines.
Mechanically, Tigor EV will be lighter than Nexon EV, therefore a smaller battery pack will be able to offer the same range.
Launches, reveals the range, and other main details will be announced on August 31 and the company has started a booking for an electric sedan at the Select dealer with RS 21,000.
In terms of design, Tigor EV gets a blue insertion on the brake calipers and grille, and the tri-arrow signature like NEXON EV.
Tigor EV provides a peak power output of 55 kW and peak torque of 170 Nm.
It was not 0 to 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds.
The images appear on social media show the appearance of the driver.
In the image, Tigor EV can run 204 kilometers with 59% battery remaining.
Effectively, this translates to 300+ kilometers on a fully charged battery.
While the speculating range, the actual number will be confirmed after the launch.
