The toll plaza will soon be opened, but the price will be revised

PATIALA: The toll plaza under the National Highway Authority (NHAI) throughout Punjab and Haryana is ready to start their operations again after a period of one year but with a revised rate.

But the official National Highway Authority (NHAI) claimed that the revised toll charges was part of the annual revision of the wholesale price index (WPI).
“Minimal revisions in toll costs are based on WPI and are part of the annual revision.
There is nothing in this regarding farmer agitation”, NHAI regional officers, Rp.
Singh.

However, RP Singh, NHAI Regional Officers claimed that salaries were no cut employees and protests held in several places by invalid employees.
Asked whether there were employees dumped from work during agitation, he said, to point or dismiss the employee based on performance or behavior was a single decision from the contractor body but no employees were fired due to agitation.
