Letter: The city bus was burned by criminals using gasoline after the driver knocked down the pedestrian when he crossed the BRTS line by jumping over iron grill in the area of the Suratan Surat on Friday.
The man suffered minor injuries.
Police on Saturday ordered six unknown people for riots, unlawful assembly, damage to the use of flammable materials.
The defendant was also ordered under damage to public property laws.
The complaint was submitted by the Javed Patel bus driver.
Cording to the police, a hotel employee, Ramesh aka Ambuj alias Vinod Dabhi, crossed the Brts Lane.
“There was no gap for pedestrians to cross so that the man jumped the grill.
He suddenly came out from behind the tree in Warrition Lane and the bus dropped him,” said a police officer.
The victim fell and lost consciousness.
“When people see blood coming out of Dabhi’s voice, they think that he is dead.
Dabhi’s relatives who work at the nearest hotel also reach that place,” police said.
He added that the defendant was believed by Dabhi’s relatives, brought gasoline from somewhere and sprinkled it on the bus and burned it.
