Coimbatore: Thaythai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam Kazhagam (TPDK) on Thursday held a protest with a blank syringe, condemning the trade union government for a bad vaccine allocation for Tamil Nadu.
Cadres, collecting empty syringes, gathered in front of the post office in the Variety Hall of the Road and raised the slogan against the government.
Ku Ramakrishnan’s Secretary General said that while health officials warned about the third covid wave, the union government only provided 302 vaccines for 1,000 people in Tamil Nadu.
“But the government provides 533 vaccines for 1,000 people in Gujarat and 493 vaccines for 1,000 people in Karnataka.
