The train police impose martial law about the BBMP marshal

Holding up three marshals to enter the premise of Rly Yeshwanthpur when they tried to punish people without masks
Three marshals from Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Puku (BBMP) got a surprise of their lives at Yeshwantpur train station – because they tried to do their work well.
The trio was detained for one hour by the train police at the station for unfortunately crimes in trying to uphold the norm of mask.
The train police asked them to pay a penalty to enter the train property.
“Marshals we found two train passengers out of Yeshwantpur train station without wearing facial masks.
They tried to punish them but both ran to the train station and bring one train employee (which looked like a ticket collector) with them,” said Sridhara KS, supervisor for BBMP Marshals, RR Nagar Zone.

The supervisor said that three Marshals – Muniraju, Ketta, and Goutam Kumar – were detained for more than an hour at the train station.
He said train employees grabbed radio and cellphones from Marshal.
“The train employee directed the train police to register a case against three marshals because it entered without permission to the train station but our Marshal refused to pay a penalty which stated that they had done the task according to the direction of the Head of the BBMP commissioner,” he said.
He said that the train employee refused to provide a telephone number of the Division train manager.
“Railroad employees, including police, rude with our marshals and threatened to register criminal cases against them if they dare to enter the train property,” he said.
The manager of the South West Railway Division Ashok Verma told Bangalore Mirror that he did not realize the incident.
“The BBMP marshal can approach us.
I have not been told about detention so far,” said Verma.
The head of the BBMP Marshal Col Rajbeer Singh said the zone supervisor had told him about the incident.
“I have told the BBMP Special Commissioner (Health) about the incident,” Singh said.
BBMP Special Commissioner (Health) Randeep D said that he would write a letter to the train authority stating that the BBMP Marshal was authorized to punish people because they did not wear facial masks.
“We need the collaboration of Railway Authority to monitor passengers from Maharashtra and Kerala whether they have a negative RT-PCR certificate.
I was told that the BBMP Marshal monitored people outside the train station.

The BBMP marshal has sentenced 4,93,857 people because it was not wearing a face mask and collected Rs 11.86.87,348 as a penalty from them from May 2020 to 5 August 2021.
They have sentenced 31,339 people because they did not maintain social distance and collected Rs 71.35.601 as a penalty from them.
