VARANATION: The Chairperson of the Yogi Adityanath Minister has mentioned the savior of the tribal and biodiversity people in the country.
“This is a tribal population because the country has a rich mineral, forest and biodiversity resources,” he added.
CM handles the function held in the cultural complex here on the occasion of birthdays born 146 Tribal icon Birsa Munda on Monday.
He said that the tribal population inspired all to protect natural resources.
“We appreciate the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate Jayanti Bhagwan Birsa Munda as Janjatiya Gaurav Diawas,” CM said, and highlighted Birsa Munda’s sacrifice for the freedom of the state.
“He sacrificed his life at the age of 25 in 1900 which was proven to be a state independence mantra in a short range of 47 years,” he added.
“The state government is committed to taking care of the tribal population and benefits them with all the welfare schemes and programs for their welfare,” CM said, adding that the state government has initiated a number of steps for their well-being and development.
“After 2017, as many as 54 forest villages have been given the status of the village of revenue so far.
The work is ongoing to benefit them with land Pattas, ration cards, ayushman cards and job opportunities,” said Yogi added that the government respected the tribal population and committed to protecting their dignity .
CM accused the government before ignoring the tribal population.
“Tribal welfare work should have been carried out after independence, but there is no thought and vision,” he said, adding that they remained negligent until 2014.
CM also highlighted the leadership of PM Modi in successfully overcoming Covid- 19 pandemics.
He said that people were given free vaccinations, food grains and financial assistance during the pandemic period.
