The TVM train division collects Rs 6.05CR in a penalty

Thiruvananthapuram: Thiruvananthapuram The train division collected a number of Rs.6.05 Crore as a penalty of passengers for various violations during the intensive campaign carried out by the South Railroad to examine less ticket practices.

The Chennai division collected RS.12.78 Crore income which was the highest ticket inspection revenue among divisions during the period from April to October.
In total Railhern Railways collected the cumulative number of Rs 35.47 Crore as a penalty of passengers during this period.
Cases include traveling without tickets, irregular tickets and unclear baggage.
To ensure a tight Covid protocol compliance, the train imposed a fine of those who failed to wear a mask.
During the period from April to October, RS.1.63 Crore was restored as a fine of 32,624 absent, release released by the train.
