PATNA: The struggle from the LJP attained the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday with warring factions headed by Chirag Paswan and his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras staking their claim within the party emblem.
A five-member delegation headed by Jamui MP Chirag attained the ECI office at Delhi and staked their claim stating that he was chosen that the LJP federal president for a period of five years at 2019.
Chirag said that he has encouraged the commission to get a last call about the issue not without needing their claim under account.
“I shall offer the pertinent files to buttress my claim,” he explained and added that several individuals were staking claim on the celebration and utilizing its own symbol, which wasn’t valid according to the LJP constitution.
“Prior to the departure of the party creator Ram Vilas Paswan, I had been made its federal president,” he maintained.
In addition, he informed the commission regarding the suspension of their five party MPs because of their anti-party pursuits.
He explained the nomination of Hajipur MP Paras since the LJP nationwide president as”unconstitutional”.
Afterwards, a delegation of LJP’s rebel faction containing Sanjay Saraf and Vinod Kumar staked their claim within the celebration.
“We’ve apprised the commission on our promise.
We also advised the commission regarding the election of Paras because the party’s federal president from the federal executive,” Saraf said.
Paras stated his election on the top party post was legitimate according to its own constitution.
“Chirag is the party’s federal president leader of the party,” he told this paper on the telephone from Delhi.
A movie moved viral about social websites quoting Chirag as requesting a guy over telephone to keep the agitation in Patna and to maintain a close tab in the actions round the party workplace.
From the movie, the validity of the TOI does not affirm, Chirag was quoted as reassuring the caller to give complete cooperation and support for its agitation and other relevant pursuits.
Reacting to this movie, an former LJP functionary, Keshav Singhsaid he had again and again pointed out regarding Chirag’s affiliation with some individuals with criminal antecedents.
