LONDON: 52.009 Others in the UK have tested positive Covid-19, marking the first time the number above 50,000 since July 17, according to official figures Thursday.
The latest numbers came after more than 40,000 daily cases Covid-19 was reported for eight consecutive days, so the total number of Coronavirus cases in this country was 8,641,221.
The country also reported 115 deaths related to the next Coronavirus.
The total number of deaths related to Coronavirus in the UK now stands at 139,146.
These figures only include the deaths of people who died within 28 days after their first positive test.
At present there are 8,142 patients in hospitals with Covid-19.
Meanwhile, separate figures published by the National Statistics Office showed that there were 162,620 deaths registered in the UK where CAIVD-19 was mentioned in the Death Certificate.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has acknowledged that the case of the Covid case “height” and he “watched numbers very carefully every day”.
However, he insisted he “cling to our plans”.
The British government has so far opposed the call to move to plan B from the autumn and winter covid response to suppress the pressure on national health services (NHS).
Speaking at the Downing road conference on Wednesday, Health Secretary Sajid Javid warned that the pandemic Coronavirus “did not end”.
Javid has even estimated there may be 100,000 Covid cases a day towards winter.
The UK has raised most of Covid restrictions thanks to the progress of the vaccine launch.
More than 86 percent of people 12 years and over in the UK have their first vaccine dose and around 79 percent have received a dose, the latest numbers show.
To bring a normal life back, countries such as Britain, China, Germany, Russia and the United States have competed against time to launch the Coronavirus vaccine.
