The United Nations: UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has condemned the drone attack suspected at Abu Dhabi International Airport and the closest industrial area where two Indians and one Pakistani citizen were killed.
Three people were killed and six others were injured on Monday in the Houthi drone attack suspected near Abu Dhabi Airport which triggered several explosions in the United Arab Emirates.
The explosion was caused by “small flying objects”, maybe drone, which hit three petroleum tankers in Abu Dhabi, police said.
In a statement issued on Monday, Guterres asked all parties to carry out the maximum restraint and prevent escalation in the midst of increasing tensions in the region.
Secretary General condemned the attack at Abu Dhabi International Airport and the closest industrial Musaffah area, which reportedly caused several civilian casualties and had been claimed by Houthi.
Attack on civilians and civil infrastructure is prohibited by international humanitarian law, the statement said.
Asserting that there was no military solution for conflict in Yemen, Guterres urged the parties to be constructive and without prerequisites with messengers, especially Hans Grundberg and mediation efforts with the aim of advancing the political process to achieve a comprehensive settlement to end.

The Indian Embassy in the UAE said that this mission was closely related to the UAE authorities who care for more details about victims.
“The UAE authority has told that the explosion in the Musafah, close to the ADNOC storage tank, has caused 3 victims, which included 2 Indian citizens.
