New Delhi: Indian unemployment rate rose to four-month highs in December because several countries imposed fresh virus restrictions for persistent corrugated case numbers.
The unemployment rate increased to 7.91 percent last month, from 7 percent in November, rising both in urban and rural areas, according to data from the Indian Economic Monitoring Center (CMIE), a private research company.
