Panaji: The State Union Minister for Tourism Shripad rose on Thursday said the government would make a decision about restarting tourism activities in the country even when he called for a careful manner to ensure that the Covid-19 situation was contained.
“We can let people who have received vaccine doses, but we also have to consider how to accommodate those who have not taken vaccines,” he told reporters.
“Restarting complete tourism activities in the state will take time.” Restarting full tourism activities in the state will take time.
MOS Tourism Shripad rises Saidnaik revealed that the tender for the construction of the hotel management institute and the catering in Farmagudi has been allocated and the work will begin soon.
He also said the work of the Water Sports Institute, which continued for several years, will be finished soon.
The Union Minister said he would hold a meeting with the Minister of Chief Pramod Sawant and completed the type of project needed by Goa to increase tourism and added that he would work with the state government to improve tourism infrastructure.
