Bhubaneswar: The Mayurbhanj District Police recorded a case against the Union Minister for Jal Shakti and Tribal Affairs, Bisheswar Tudu, for allegedly attacking two government officials in Bareipada on Friday.
Deputy Director of the Mayurbhanj District Planning Board Debashis Mohapatra and Assistant Director of Ashwini Malkick accused them brutally beaten by the arrival in his office in Bari.
While the two officers were treated at a government hospital in Bari on a minor injury, Mohapatra filed a complaint against the sub-district police station at night.
“We registered a case against Bisheswar Tudu after receiving complaints from deputy directors.
The costs are being verified.
The investigation is underway,” Mayurbukkanj sp, Rishikesh Khilari told Tii.
The source of Sudu said, which was Martib Martic, has been ordered under 33 years (voluntarily causing injury), 325 (voluntarily causing a sad pain), 294 (obscene acts) and 506 (criminal intimidation) IPC.
“The Union minister summoned us to meet him in his party’s office with several official files.
We denied it because it would violate the code of the behavior of the Behavior of Panchayat.
When he insisted, we met him in his personal office.
He was very angry and attacked me with a chair,” said Mohapatra.
Dudu drove the accusation.
“I didn’t attack them.
I want to meet them.
I have called them to discuss the utilization of Mplad’s funds in Mayurbhanj.
They arrived late.
I was busy and told them to meet me on Saturday.
I did not show the mistake to the officer,” Sudu said .
The Union Minister said the officers leveled false accusations to slander him and BJP ahead of the election of Pancires.
Recently, Tudu was in controversy after several administrative service officers (OAS) Odisha in the Mayurbhanjnya district accused him of making rude comments about them.
