UCPMA Polls Ludhiana: With less than a week for September 3 elections from the Association of the United Cycle and Parts producer manufacturers (UCPMA), factories from some industrialists of bicycles have become a war room and the hotel and the wedding palace also associated with activities.
Two groups – one led by Avtar Singh Bhogal and the others by DS Chawla – have decided to oppose the election at eight posts.
They are busy chancing strategies and organizing parties to seduce voters, who will decide which group will rule UCPMA for the next two years.
Social media and whatsapp groups are flooded with messages of support and elections.
To attack voters who have a factory in a crowded area, United Alliance Group (UAG), which is supported by KK Seth, Chararjit Vishiwkarma and Jaswinder Thukral, two-wheeled rally.
During the rally, contestants, led by their presidential candidate avtar Singh Bhogal, visited the member unit and appealed the vote.

Charanjit group spokesman Singh Vishiwkarma said, “We aim to improve the local bike industry by ending imported imported Chinese goods.
Our group candidates are known as their net image and dedication to the improvement and welfare of the cycle industry and ucpma too.” Group rivals , led by DS Chawla, who is also a candidate for the President’s post, received support from the Veterans of the Joger Kumar and Joga Singh bicycle industry.
The group highlighted the attack on Chawla at the annual public meeting on August 18 (GMS) from the Association.
Chawla alleged that the attack was governed by UAG members and he even received FIR who was registered against group members, including Gurmet Singh Kular, officers of the chairman for the election.
Chawla said, “Our fight is contrary to the error that occurs at UCPMA and we will expose the people involved.
I tried to raise my voice to these people during the GMS, but there was a coward attack on me, but no one could block I am to speak the truth.
